“ The Kastro Apartment and Taverna is a hidden gem. The apartment is located in a quiet olive district and only 200 metres from the sea. It is very modern, comfortable and clean. The owner, Petros, is an authentic Greek and very kind person and simply the best cook in town. We enjoyed every single day! You should try the Aubergine with feta and the Tzaziki. We will definitely come back to this place. It is highly recommended! ”

“ Went there last night for a beautiful meal of pork and beef with lemon potatoes in the oven. Also ordered a salad and an appetizer which was a rolled up and fried crepe of ham and cheese. Served complimentary dessert which was a slice of yogurt and fruit which seemed baked with a crumble topping. Very tasty food, fresh ingredients, made and served with love. The servers were very friendly and welcoming people, very genuine and authentic restaurant where the menu changes daily depending on the best food sourced that day. The menu of the day was read out to us which was a nice touch, and we were able to ask questions. Lovely to sit out on the cobblestone terrace overlooking the olive grove. We also made some friends with the local kittens and fed them a sneaky piece of ham each. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others! ”
